I am more than a label. Today is the day.
With a grateful heart, I'm so excited to officially announce that pre-orders are now open for my memoir, The System Didn't Break Me.
This book has been years in the making.
Some of you may remember that I published a version of my story years ago. What many people don't know is that I was very sick during that time. I wasn't in a healthy place mentally, emotionally, or spiritually, and while I wanted to share my story, I wasn't ready to tell it the way it deserved to be told.
Today is different.
For the last six years, I've worked incredibly hard on my healing. I've asked for help. I've learned. I've grown. I've become stable, and most importantly, I've found peace with the fact that timing is everything.
One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that there is no shame in asking for help. Sometimes we want to rush into the purpose God has for us, but healing has to come first. I've learned that it doesn't matter when your story reaches people — it matters that when it does, it's told with honesty, healing, and truth.
People ask me all the time:
- How do you survive trauma?
- How do you live with mental health challenges?
- How do you keep going after everything you've been through?
This book is my answer.
The System Didn't Break Me isn't about being a victim. It's about resilience. It's about faith. It's about healing. It's about refusing to let your past define your future.
This isn't just my story anymore. It's for anyone who's ever felt misunderstood, judged, labeled, forgotten, or broken.
Because we are all more than our labels.
If my journey can help even one person realize they're not alone, then every painful chapter was worth writing.
