The Story
A survivor.
A witness.
A voice.
This is the story behind the platform — and the reason none of this is optional.

Mission
To expose what was hidden, speak what was silenced, and help others discover that healing is possible.
I'm Alexis Turner — survivor, mother, advocate, author, and speaker.
My journey has taken me through foster care, CPS involvement, family court battles, mental health challenges, and moments where I questioned whether my voice mattered.
The System Didn't Break Me was born from the realization that surviving wasn't enough. I wanted to create something that helped others understand they are not alone — and that healing is possible.
Today I use my story to advocate for families, survivors, and communities who have too often been overlooked by the systems meant to protect them.
What I stand on
